Cushion the dog's high bed

Medications that dogs can take to relieve joint pain include a very common painkiller called Fenbid. I'm sure you've heard that ibuprofen, the main ingredient in Fenbide, is effective at relieving joint and muscle pain. When feeding dogs, the reference dose is 10-15 mg per kilogram of body weight.

Control weight

Weight will increase the burden on the dog's joints and aggravate the wear and tear of the joint cartilage, so the dog's weight should be controlled within a reasonable range, rather than getting fatter, the better. A dog of normal weight has a slightly defined waistline and a soft ribcage contour.

Avoid going up and down stairs

Stairs are designed for the convenience of "people". For dogs, if the plane depth is too shallow, it will put a great burden on the dog's lumbar spine and limb joints. Don’t let them run around freely just because they used to walk up and down stairs cheerfully when they were young, or even try to lose weight by going up and down stairs. Cut your dog's nails regularly

Warm and dry environment

Avoid strenuous exercise

Dog arthritis does not mean that you cannot exercise, but you need to exercise moderation and avoid strenuous exercise such as running and jumping. The activity time should be short and the amount of exercise should be small. You can consider short-distance, slow walks. Swimming is also a good activity.
