Sciatic nerve injury

The sciatic nerve distributes to the muscles behind the thigh of the hind limbs, and plays a role in flexing the knee joint and Stretching the wrist joint. Sciatic nerve injuries often occur with pelvic fractures, fractures of the femur, or from intramuscular injections of irritating drugs. Paralysis occurs after sciatic nerve injury. Except for the quadriceps, other joints lose their flexion ability, and the affected limb becomes longer and cannot support body weight. When standing, the affected limb almost touches the ground with its heel, the Achilles tendon is slack, and it is difficult to walk. Over time, the muscles supported by nerves atrophy.

Brachial plexus injury

After the canine brachial plexus is injured, the clinical symptoms are mainly flexural nerve paralysis. When the musculocutaneous nerve is also damaged, the affected limb cannot flex the elbow joint. If the axillary nerve is damaged, the elbow joint will sag. The median nerve and ulnar nerve are damaged, and the dog cannot flex the wrist and finger joints. Fractal nerve injury

The radial nerve is distributed on the extensor sides of the elbow, wrist and fingers. When the dog walks, the wrist and finger joints flex and cannot extend.
