1. When you realize that your dog is very hot, immediately take it to a cool place or a cool room. The most direct and important method is to remove the heat source, such as taking it to an air-conditioned room to rest. If there is no air conditioning around, try to find a fan to blow the dog.
2. To help the dog cool down, you can rinse its head and body with cold water, wipe the dog with a wet towel, or let the dog swim in the bathtub or sink for a while. Be careful not to use water that is too cold to avoid shock symptoms in your dog.
3. You can feed the dog some water to replenish moisture.
