Precautions for dog vaccination

2. Conduct a physical examination on the dog before injecting the vaccine. The dog should be vaccinated when it is in good health. Because the vaccine is weakly virulent, if the dog's immunity is low at this time, not only will it not be able to protect it, but it will have negative effects.
3. If the dog has just arrived in a new environment, it may have a stress reaction. This situation will cause the dog's immunity to be low, and it is not suitable for vaccination. It is recommended to familiarize itself with the new environment for half a month.
4. The dog’s daily diet should pay attention to nutritional balance. The lack of vitamin A and vitamin E will inhibit the formation of antibodies.
5. Do not take a shower or go out for one week after vaccination.
6. A few dogs will have allergic reactions to vaccines, so it is best to observe them in the hospital for half an hour after the injection before leaving.
7. It is normal for dogs to experience symptoms such as increased body temperature and lethargy after injection, and will generally return to normal within 2 hours.
8. Do not give antibiotics, anthelmintics and other drugs to your dog within 3 days of vaccination.
