How to bathe a Labrador

As Labrador ages, the nutrients needed by the body also change, so it is necessary to replace dog food, and it cannot be fed a single puppy dog food for a long time. First of all, the replacement should not be too sudden, and the Labrador must be allowed to adapt, because most pet Labradors are now relatively squeamish (Erha is even more squeamish and will not eat if he disagrees). Therefore, there must be a process to replace dog food, and it will take about 7-10 days for Labrador to adapt to the new dog food.
Add a handful of new dog food and divide it into ten days to allow the Labrador to adapt. Then on the first day, you can mix 10% of the new dog food into the old dog food and reduce the amount of old dog food by 10%. On the second day, add 20% new dog food and reduce 20% old dog food, and so on, until all dog food has been replaced after the tenth day. However, one thing to note during this period is to observe whether the Labrador has adapted to the food. Even if the method is like this, if the Labrador is not adapted to eating not much, it still has to be done slowly. Alternatively, you can add minced meat to the dog food to adjust the Labrador's appetite and stimulate it to adapt to the new dog food faster.
In addition, when switching Labrador’s food, owners must pay attention to the recommended feeding amount of the new dog food. The energy density (calories per cup/can) of dog food from various brands is different. This is also the main reason for determining the amount of feeding. You don’t need to feed Labrador a lot of certain dog foods with relatively high nutrients. If the dog owner doesn’t pay attention to this and feeds the original amount, Labrador may have soft stools. At this time, as long as the feeding amount is slightly adjusted, the soft stool situation will improve.
