What should I do if my poodle's hair is tangled? If your poodle's hair is tangled, the first thing to note is that you cannot bathe the dog, otherwise it will be more difficult to untie. Secondly, you can spray care essential oil on the knotted area and use a pet comb. Comb it out slowly; if you really can't untie the knot, you can use scissors to cut away the tangle.

1. Do not touch water

Some people take it for granted that they bathe their dogs, thinking that the dog’s hair will naturally unravel after the bath. Note that this is not human hair, but poodle hair. Poodles have a lot of fine hair. Once it gets wet and blown open, it will become more brittle, making it even more difficult to untie. If your dog's coat is already tangled, be sure not to bathe it.

 2. Grooming hair

If the poodle's hair is often tangled, the poop manager should comb the dog's hair every day. It is very convenient to use a comb like the one used for pet dogs. If the hair is knotted and difficult to comb, the owner should not use brute force, otherwise the hair will be pulled out and it will be more difficult to grow. The correct approach should be to spray a little water or hair care essential oil, comb slowly along the direction of hair growth, and the knots will slowly unravel.

3. Cut off the knotted area

If the dog’s hair has become knotted, it depends on the area. If the area is small, just cut it off horizontally. The speed at which Teddy dogs grow hair is obvious to all. As long as it is not shaved off, it can grow back in a week or two. The editor has a black teddy baby, so cutting it off is not obvious at all. Don’t use this method too often, as your dog will feel inferior.
