Prepare the tools you need to clean your Pomeranian’s ears in advance. First use small scissors to trim individual ear hairs that block the ears. Some ear hairs are inside, and trimming them with scissors can easily hurt the Pomeranian, so they need to be pulled out, which is more thorough than trimming. You can sprinkle a little ear powder into the Pomeranian's ears in advance, rub the ears for a while, and then use tweezers to pull them out. After pulling out, the remaining powder in the ears needs to be removed.

You can use cotton swabs with ear drops to wipe out areas visible to the naked eye. Places that are inaccessible, especially when Pomeranians suffer from ear mites. Ear mites live deep in the external auditory canal. It is not recommended to take them out directly. You can hold the Pomeranian in your arms, lift the tip of the ear with one hand, and inject ear drops into the Pomeranian's ear canal with the other hand. 2-3 drops are enough. Massage the base of the ear to hear the sound of the liquid. The sound is better. After a while, use a cotton swab to wipe away the dissolved dirt inside again. Finally, use a clean towel or rag to dry the Pomeranian’s external ears and the opening of the ear canal.
