How to feed an adult Teddy

1. Feeding precautions
Feed once or twice a day on time. For small breeds such as Teddy dogs, two small meals a day can be particularly beneficial.
Your dog should be fed room temperature dog food to ensure that it can taste and smell the food properly. If you are feeding it canned food, it will take about two hours after you take the can out of the refrigerator and open it until the temperature of the food returns to normal temperature. Alternatively, you might also consider using a microwave to heat wet dog food from the can, which will save a lot of time. But feed your dog food neither too hot nor too cold.
If you are feeding dry dog food, it should be stored in a dry and clean environment. Resealable packaging or airtight containers can lock in the flavor of your food so it always tastes great.
Your dog should be allowed to eat in a quiet place. Do not let him be disturbed during the eating process, and do not let him eat where you eat. Let your dog eat somewhere easier to clean, such as a tile floor or a rug.
2. Feeding amount
Feed according to the recommended feeding amount on the back of the package, but don’t forget that the recommended feeding amount is for your reference only. Every dog is unique, so the most important consideration in feeding is one that keeps your dog lean and healthy. Keep a bowl of clean water ready for your dog at all times.
If you want to feed your dog biscuits or snacks, remember to reduce the amount of staple food accordingly. Also, never feed your puppy more than 15% of their total food.
3. Combing
It is necessary to comb the adult Teddy frequently to keep the fur soft and smooth. When combing, pay attention to combing the facial hair, because after eating, the facial hair will be stuck with food residues. After eating, you must wipe the dog's mouth clean and then comb it with a comb. It is best to use a comb with fine teeth for combing Teddy. If there are bugs on the dog, you can comb them out while combing. You should also check your Teddy's skin frequently. If you find any damage or lesions, seek medical attention from your pet doctor promptly.
4. Take a bath
Teddy must be clean and bathe the puppy frequently. If there is a peculiar smell on the body, you can wipe the puppy with a towel dipped in warm water. Puppies after three months of age should take a bath about once a week. Frequent bathing can reduce the number of worms on Teddy's body. Especially behind the ears, you must pay attention to whether there are ear mites.
5. Vaccine
Note that the adult Teddy Infectious Vaccine is given once a year. The rabies vaccine is given every three years. Adult Teddy also needs internal deworming. When getting vaccinated, the adult Teddy must ensure good health. Poor Teddy's health will reduce the adult Teddy's immunity and affect his health. Please note that you can only go out to play one week after the vaccination.
