How to raise a Boston dog? Boston dogs need 200-350 grams of cooked meat every day, chopped and mixed with an equal amount of cooked dry ingredients and an appropriate amount of warm boiled water for feeding. Groom it every day, bathe it regularly, clean its ears, teeth and eyes, and trim its hair and nails. Walk it every morning or evening, do not let it do strenuous exercise, and apply a small amount of glycerin on its nose when the weather is dry.

1. Feeding

In the daily feed, medium and small animals need 200-250 grams of meat, and large animals need 300-350 grams of meat, plus an equal amount of dry vegetables or biscuits.

Meat should be boiled for 15-20 minutes, minced, mixed with cooked dry ingredients and an appropriate amount of warm boiled water before feeding.

How much feed should be supplied every day can be appropriately controlled according to the size of the dog's body, and it should be just right. Too little will cause you to lose your lively and lovely posture and image due to insufficient nutrition; too much will cause you to gain weight due to overnutrition and lose your charming charm.

Food should be provided at regular times, quantitatively and at fixed points, and should be eaten within 15-25 minutes. Food and food bowls should be put away after the expiration date. Do not allow food to be delayed and develop the bad habit of eating at irregular times.

 2. Nursing

You need to comb its coat with a comb or brush every day to keep its coat clean and smooth, and bathe it regularly. Wash it every 20-30 days when the weather is cool, and every 3-5 days on hot days. You should take a bath every day. The hair that is too long on the head (forehead), bridge of the nose and abdomen should be trimmed regularly to expose the short white hair and make it look more beautiful and cute. Every 10-5 days, your toenails should also be trimmed.

If you can apply a little olive oil on the hair that has been bathed and dried, and then wipe it with soft materials such as fluff or silk for a while, its appearance will become more beautiful.

During the breeding process, the dog should be regularly trained so that it can develop hygienic habits, such as defecation at fixed points and not using claws on sofas and clothing. The dog’s ear wax and tartar should also be removed every few days. Its eyes are large, and dust and foreign matter can easily enter and cause eye diseases. Therefore, the eyes and orbits should be cleaned frequently with 2% boric acid water to avoid bacterial infection.

 3. Exercise

Because Boston dogs are short-nosed dogs with short respiratory tracts and are prone to heatstroke, they cannot be let out for walks or other large-volume exercises in summer. In the morning or evening every day, take it out for a walk or walk, but do not let it run fast or do strenuous exercise, otherwise it will cause asthma and shortness of breath. In addition, its nose is prone to cracking. In winter and autumn when the climate is dry, you should always apply a small amount of glycerin, Vaseline and other oils on the nose to prevent the nose from drying out and cracking.

In normal times, you should always pay attention to whether the dog's mental state has changed, its appetite, the shape of the feces, and the dryness, wetness, and coolness of the nose pads. Once an illness is discovered, it should be treated as soon as possible.
