1. Teeth
Generally, a Poodle’s deciduous teeth will grow out within ten days of birth. After two months, the Poodle’s teeth will slowly transform from incisors, canines, and molars into permanent teeth. By the age of ten months, all the poodle’s teeth will be replaced by permanent teeth. The specific situation is divided into: 19---28 days, the primary incisors grow in; 21---28 days, the third primary premolars grow in; 21---35 days, the primary canine teeth grow in; 21---42 days , the fourth deciduous premolar erupts; 28---42 days, the second deciduous premolar erupts; at 2 months, all teeth grow together. Then, every month, the poodle's teeth will be replaced from deciduous teeth to permanent teeth. Until the age of 1 year, all permanent teeth have appeared.
2. Hair
As long as the original hair of the Poodle is not white, you can judge its age by whether white hair grows on the Poodle. Generally speaking, the hair near the Poodle's mouth will first turn white when it is 5 years old, and then slowly extend to the entire face and back. If 70% of the hair on the head of a poodle has turned white, then the poodle is over 10 years old. If all the hair on the head of the poodle has turned white, it means that the poodle is over 13 years old.
3. Posture
Young poodles are lively and active, as light as a swallow. For obstacles, they will boldly choose to try to overcome them. When poodles are 5 years old, they will choose safety first and are no longer as adventurous as they were when they were young. Therefore, at this time, they will maintain a relatively stable state of action. However, 10-year-old Poodles have entered old age, their movements will become sluggish, and some Poodles will also have a hunched back, which is easy to identify.
4. Eyes
The puppy’s eyes are free of impurities, very clear, watery and very cute. The eyes of Poodles in their youth are bright, resolute and piercing. When poodles enter their old age, they are likely to suffer from cataracts. According to data, poodles over 10 years old generally suffer from cataracts. Moreover, at this time, their eyes' reaction to stimulation will be significantly slower than that of puppies and adolescent Poodles.
