Samoyed Feeding Experience

The teeth and gastrointestinal development of Samoyed puppies are not perfect enough. When feeding them, it is recommended to soak the dog food until soft. Warm water, rice soup, and pork rib soup are all feasible. In addition, please note that it is best not to feed other foods to puppies before they are 6 months old, such as raw eggs and animal offal, which can easily cause indigestion in Samoyeds. As for bones, pig leg bones are fine for molar teeth, but other chicken, duck, fish and other bones must not be used. Do not feed them to prevent bone fragments from piercing their intestines and causing serious consequences.
The staple food of Samoyeds must be mainly dog food! We will not emphasize too much on the impact of oil and salt on dogs’ gastrointestinal tract. The main thing is to feed Samoyeds with our meals. There is no way to meet their body's demand for nutrients, and it is easy for them to get sick, which can be said to be a thankless effort. Dog food can meet the daily nutritional needs of Samoyeds, will not burden the gastrointestinal tract, and is very convenient to use.
When feeding Samoyeds, be sure to pay attention to timing and quantity. Whether they are adults or puppies, they cannot eat too much. Generally speaking, they only need to be 8 points full. Eating too much can easily lead to Samoyeds. Gastrointestinal problems occur. The recommendation is: puppies should be fed 3-4 times a day, and adult dogs should be fed 2 times a day.
How much should a Samoyed eat? To be precise, there is no unified standard. Therefore, it must be determined through careful observation by the owner. If your dog is still anxious, unhappy, and hovering around you after eating, it means you may not have put enough food in it. If the Satsuma seems very satisfied after eating, wipes his face by himself, and waddles aside to rest or play, this means that he is full. In addition, if Satsuma hides food, it means there is excess food and the owner needs to pay attention to it.
