1. Eyes
The Fawn Dog’s eyes must be bright and should not have any bloodshot eyes or secretions. If the color of the eyes is uneven and listless, don’t choose this kind of eyes, especially those with fierce-looking eyes.
2. Ears
The inside of the traditional fawn dog’s ears are pink, without any pale color or any odor. There will be no lumps. The ear area must be clean.
3. Hair
The hair is short, dense, smooth, dense and shiny, with no exposed skin. Color is deer red, light reddish brown to dark reddish brown. Also available in black and tan; glossy black with red or brown markings. The ideal markings should be as dark, thick, and clear as possible. Among pure reds and deer reds, darker shades are ideal.
4. Teeth
The gums of a Fawn Dog puppy must be light red, not have any strange smell, and the teeth must be arranged very neatly.
5. Anus
Be sure to pay attention to the anus of the fawn dog. Check to see if it is dry. If it feels damp, your dog may have had diarrhea before. By the way, touch the dog's belly again. If there is swelling, it means there are parasites in the body.
6. Gait
The mini is a runner. Its back remains stable and fairly stable during movement. Movements are coordinated, steady, powerful, unrestrained, and have good stride length. The typical trot is a grounded, relaxed, smooth movement with strong drive and free forward reach.
