The Schnauzer is a type of terrier dog that originated in Germany in the 15th century. It is the only terrier breed that does not contain British ancestry. Their name Schnauzer means "muzzle" in German. They are energetic, lively and smart.
Schnauzers are divided into three varieties: "Standard Schnauzer", "Miniature Schnauzer" and "Giant Schnauzer". Its coat is long and trimmed regularly, making it suitable for a variety of styles. If dog breeders understand and master common dog diseases and breeding behaviors, Schnauzers can grow better and healthier.

Ears are set high, well developed, and of medium thickness. If ears are cropped, they should be erect, V-shaped, folded forward, with the inner edge close to the cheek.
Eyes are medium-sized, dark brown, oval, and directed forward.
The nose is large, black and plump. The muzzle is strong, parallel to the skull, and consistent in length. The muzzle ends in a blunt wedge shape with exaggerated bristles and whiskers. The entire head has a rectangular appearance. A complete set of white teeth with a strong and perfect scissors bite.
The neck is strong, of medium thickness and length, elegantly curved, and blends into the shoulders. The back is strong and sturdy.
The chest is moderately wide and the ribs are well-expanded. If you observe the cross-section, it should appear as an egg precursor.
The thighs are thick and the stifle angle is appropriate. The second section of the thigh, from the knee to the hock, is parallel to the extended line of the neck. The feet are small, compact, and round, with thick pads and very strong black nails. The toes are close together and slightly arched (cat feet) with the toes pointed straight forward.
