What to do if your Chihuahua’s ears don’t stand up

1. Bone mass, this is most easily seen from the claws. A good Labrador, even a puppy that is only 30 days old, has very thick claws, more than 5cm in width. Bone mass is extremely important. If there is insufficient bone mass, the dog will have a weak physique in the future and will not become an ideal dog.
2. Coat color, this is very strange. Everyone has different preferences. Some friends like golden yellow, some like light yellow (close to white), and some like black. As long as the color is pure and there are no stray hairs, it will be fine. The baby's color will be basically the same as when it grows up. It will be slightly darker when it grows up, depending on the color of its ears.
3. Head. The Labrador’s head has two characteristics. First, there is an obvious bone protrusion at the back of the head. Without this protrusion, the breed is impure. Secondly, the nose should be sharp and concave to form a vertical straight line. It is better to be deeper than shallow.
4. Mouth, hold the baby's mouth with your hands. The thicker the mouth of the Labrador, the wider the mouth will be in the future, otherwise it will easily grow into a sharp-mouthed dog. Within the moderate range, the wider the mouth and the stronger the grip, the better the appearance.
5. Ears, ears should not be too big - ears that are too large and too long are not advantages, but defects. Pull the tips of the ears to just cover the front of the eyes. If it exceeds too much, it is a shortcoming.
6. Eyes. When a purebred Labrador adult dog looks straight ahead, the whites of its eyes should not be exposed - but when choosing a puppy, you should never buy such a dog. One characteristic of all mammals is that the size of their eyes changes very little after they are born and grow up. Many people's eyes were quite big when they were young, but become smaller as they grow up. This is because the eyes themselves do not change. Therefore, when buying a puppy, you should show the whites of the eyes appropriately - pay attention to the appropriateness.
7. Nose. The Labrador’s nose should be black. If it is red, then it is considered solid. Take a closer look.
8. Tail, many friends don’t pay attention to the tail when choosing. Please pay attention to the way Labrador models stand. If the tail is raised or flat, someone must have pulled it up. When a Labrador is standing still, its tail must be hanging diagonally. When buying a puppy, his tail should be tucked behind his butt or drooping moderately when standing still. When running, the tail will not be completely straight back, nor will it be curled up like a Chinese garden dog.
9. The claws naturally close together instead of spreading out.
