1. Feeding

(1) If there is no special milk powder for puppies, first use human infant milk powder, boil water in a ratio of 1:7, add 1/4 of the mother's milk (powder), 1/3 of cod liver oil (excluding the capsules), 1/8 calcium tablet (powder). Let cool, the temperature should be lukewarm or not on the back of your hand.

(2) Use a needle to absorb 5ml of milk, put on the valve core (this is the pacifier), pick up the puppy, let the puppy lie down, hold the puppy's chin with your left hand, and raise its head slightly . Squeeze out a little milk and gently rub the pacifier near the dog's mouth and nose. It is best to make the puppy take the initiative to hold the pacifier and eat. (4) Feed at least once every 3 hours, including at night, with 2 ml of milk each time.

(2) The urine may be slightly yellow, and the stool should be gray-yellow and thick, with no undigested milk lumps (if any, dilute the milk and reduce the amount and frequency of feeding).

(3) Normally, there should be peeing after each feeding, and there should be no more than 4 bowel movements per day.

(4) Be careful not to wipe too hard. Wet the tissue paper to reduce the possibility of injury due to friction.

Try to provide the dog with a dry and ventilated hiding place. You can use a large cardboard box with a big hole in the side. Put a cotton pad inside to keep warm.

4. Hygiene

Pay attention to cleaning and disinfection of syringes, pacifiers, utensils for mixing milk, small towels and other utensils. The milk must be consumed immediately and cashed out, and cannot be deposited.
