How to bathe pet dogs? A suitable water temperature will make it easier for them to adapt, so adjust the water temperature before bathing; many pet dogs are afraid of nozzles, so when bathing, turn down the water flow, cover it with your hands, and then stick it to the dog's body Moisturize; make bubbles with pet shower gel and apply it evenly on your pet dog like massaging.
1. Confirm the water temperature
Before taking a bath, the owner should adjust the water temperature before putting the pet dog into the water. Because inappropriate water temperature can frighten them, resulting in a psychological shadow of fear of bathing. The suitable water temperature for dogs is slightly higher than the temperature that humans can adapt to.
2. Moisturize the body
It is inevitable to use a nozzle to moisturize the dog's body, but many dogs are very afraid of using the nozzle and are not used to its impact. Therefore, when the owner is bathing the dog, he may wish to turn down the water flow and cover the nozzle with his hand. Let the water flow out between your fingers and stick to the dog's body to fully soak the hair, which will feel much gentler to the dog. Then you can gradually increase the intensity of the water flow in each bath to give the dog some time to adapt. When flushing, you should fully moisturize every corner except the face.
3. Apply shower gel
Knead the pet shower gel into foam, and then apply the foam evenly on the dog's hair. For dogs, this process is like a massage. They will enjoy it very much, but be sure to avoid the face to prevent the foam from getting into the eyes or mouth and nose.
IV. Rinse the foam
After the bubbles are fully immersed in the dog's hair, we will perform the final rinse, which is still the same as moisturizing the body.
Be sure to wash away all foam and dirt on your body. If there are any residues, it will affect your hair and skin.
5. Blow-dry your hair
Before blow-drying your dog, you should use a towel to absorb the excess moisture and then blow-dry it.
When blowing a dog’s hair, the operation will be different according to different dog breeds. For example, long-haired dogs such as Maltese, Shih Tzu, and Yorkshire terrier need to be dried along the hair pattern, while curly-haired dogs such as Poodle and Bichon Frize need to be blown dry. The dog should be blow-dried against the direction of its fur. During the blowing process, the hair dryer should not be too close to the coat. It needs to be kept at a distance of more than 20cm. At the same time, use a comb to comb the hair being dried.
When drying facial hair, keep a longer distance to avoid blowing directly from the face, and cover the dog's eyes with your hands to prevent the hot air from directly contacting the eyes and causing fear.
In addition, if the dog is not particularly obedient, it is best to find a partner to cooperate. One person can comfort the dog while the other can perform operations.
