How to tell whether a Husky is pure or not

1. Husky head
The eyes of purebred Huskies are almond-shaped, moderately spaced and slightly slanted. Eyes can be brown or blue (different eye colors are acceptable if they meet the eye color criteria). The ears should be thick, covered with thick hair, slightly arched where the neck connects to the head, and erect powerfully. The tips should be slightly rounded and point straight upward.
If the Husky’s eyes are too slanted; too close. The ears and head are out of proportion and appear too large; they are too far apart; and they are not erect enough. Such a Husky is not very good. The muzzle of a purebred Husky is moderately wide, tapering to a point that is neither pointed nor square at the end.
2. Husky’s tail
The purebred Husky’s tail is very hairy, like a fox’s tail, just below the topline. When the Husky’s tail is raised, it does not curl up on either side of the body, nor does it lie flat on the back. Under normal circumstances, Xiaoha will wag his tail when responding.
The hair on the tail of a purebred husky is of medium length, and the length of the hair on the top, sides and bottom is basically the same, so it looks like a round fox tail. Faults: Tail laid flat or tightly rolled; tail set too high or too low at base.
3. Husky’s coat
The coat of a purebred husky is double-layered and medium-length. It looks very dense, but it should not be too long to cover up the clear outline of the husky itself. The undercoat is soft, dense, and long enough to support the outer coat. The coarse outer coat of hair is straight, smooth and lying, not rough or erect. (It should be noted that it is normal for Huskies to have no undercoat during the molting period.)
4. Husky color
All colors of Huskies from black to pure white are acceptable. Some other color spots on the head are common, including many patterns not found in other breeds.
5. Husky standard height and weight
Huskies are medium-sized working dogs. Generally speaking, purebred male huskies are 21-23 inches tall at the shoulders and weigh 45-60 pounds; female huskies are 20-22 inches tall at the shoulders and weigh 35-50 pounds. At the same time, purebred Huskies have a smooth, effortless gait and graceful movements; their bodies are compact; they have thick coats and erect ears.
The temperament of purebred Huskies
The typical character of a purebred Husky is friendly, gentle, alert and likes to socialize. So it is very suitable for families with elderly people or children. It will not show the strong territorial possessiveness of a guard dog, will not be too suspicious of strangers, and will not attack other dogs. Very suitable as a pet dog, but please note that Huskies are notSuitable for home care.
