Arrive early: It is very necessary to consult the airline and book the cabin two days in advance. Since pets must be transported on an aircraft equipped with an aerobic cargo cabin, booking a cabin in advance and arriving at the cargo office 3 hours before departure can ensure that your pet will arrive on the same plane as you.

Avoid squeezing: First, prepare a strong and durable special air box to transport pets. On the one hand, domestic airlines have certain requirements for the packaging of live cargo, and on the other hand, it is also for the safety of the pets themselves. Alternatively, you can tape a plastic item over the top of the flight box to prevent the movers from weighing other items on the box.

Provide drinking water: Almost all flight cases will come with a drinking fountain. You don't have to worry about the water being spilled and your pet having no water to drink.

Sedatives: If your pet is easily nervous or irritated, you can consult your veterinarian first and buy some sedatives to give it to help calm it down.

Things to note when transporting animals

1. Packaging preparation: A special plastic flight box is required, and ordinary household iron pet cages are not qualified.

2. Preparation for quarantine: The airport will require you to take your pet for quarantine, and the quarantine fee is 20 to 30 yuan. The quarantine certificate must be attached to the waybill.

3. Time preparation: After selecting your flight, you must arrive at the airport at least 3 hours in advance. Otherwise, you may not be able to board the plane in time after completing quarantine. It is necessary to anticipate the waiting time and flight time, and prepare sufficient water and food for pets. Hot weather and poor ventilation will cause harm to pets.

5. After the trip: pick up the goods as soon as possible with the waybill. If you do not take the flight at the same time and just let your pet fly alone, the person who picks up the goods will be notified of the waybill number (the waybill can be faxed) after the plane takes off.
