Domestic pet shipping

1. Pet shipping fees
There are currently two ways to transport pet dogs: trains and planes. For specific prices, you can consult the department responsible for animal transport at the airline or train station. There are also pet hospitals in some cities that will provide relevant help. If a certain agency fee is charged, they will help you handle the quarantine and shipping procedures before shipping.
The consignment price is generally between 200-500, but if the dogs are different in size and weight, there will be some differences in the actual charging process. In addition, although the procedures for train consignment and airplane consignment are similar, there may be some differences in price.
2. Consignment procedures
Go to the nearby veterinary station at least one week in advance to get rabies vaccine and cat triplex, and obtain an epidemic prevention certificate (you don’t need to do this step if you have an epidemic prevention certificate). Generally, the price is around 100 yuan. Of course, there may be some differences in prices in different places.
One or two days in advance, take your pet and epidemic prevention certificate to a nearby veterinary station (which must be approved by the railway department) for a physical examination, obtain a health certificate, and then change it to a "Pet Exit Quarantine Certificate."
Contact the transportation department one day in advance to inform you that pets need to be checked in and inquire about other related issues. In addition, if it is a train, bring the pet 2-3 hours in advance on the day and load it in a special aviation box or cage (the cage is preferably a steel structure, with a tray for holding feces under the chassis, using a sack or cotton Make sure the mat is tied under the chassis so that their urine and feces will not leak out and contaminate other goods), go to the cargo shipping station at the train station to go through the check-in procedures, and then you can check it in.
3. Things to note when shipping
The pet exit quarantine certificate is only valid for a maximum of 7 days, and this certificate should still be valid when the pet arrives at its destination.
The shorter the time for pet dogs to be checked in, the better: prolonged confinement will cause certain psychological trauma to dogs. Normally, adult dogs can tolerate a check-in time of up to 24 hours, but most of them will become seriously ill upon arrival. Underage dogs are more sensitive and fragile, so it is generally best not to check them in for more than 10 hours. After arriving at the station, quickly let it out for air circulation and give it some care and attention. Check the physical condition of the pet. If there is slight vomiting, feed Smecta twice without food. If the condition is too bad, it must be sent to an animal hospital for examination and antibiotics.
Drinking water problem: Drinking water should be prepared for dogs in summer, because animals have a large demand for water in summer.
Warming issue: The weather is cold in winter and the outside temperature is very low. Before entering the cabin, the dog will wait outside for a while. Originally, the dog was kept alone in a small cage, and he was very scared. The immunity will decrease. If you don’t pay attention to keeping warm, your dog will easily get colds and other diseases, so you should take good care of yourself.Warm work. First of all, there should be bedding in the cage, and you can also use some baby warmers to stick to the bottom of the flight box.
