How to bathe a spaniel? If you are bathing the dog yourself, you should prepare some utensils in advance. After preparing the bathing tools, you can start bathing the dog!

Bathing tools:

Dedicated bathtub, bath towel, special bath soap, comb (metal, wooden or plastic are acceptable, but it is best to prepare one with fine teeth and one with sparse teeth) brush, absorbent cotton swab, tweezers, eye ointment, hair dryer, etc. wait.

Bathing precautions:

The depth of the bathing water should not submerge the dog's back, and the best water temperature is around 35°C. Just test the water temperature with your hands and it will feel mild - the water is too hot or too deep, which can easily cause the dog to become nervous.

When taking a bath, scrub the head, back of the neck, back and tail, abdomen, and limbs in this order, and complete it as quickly as possible. After changing the water and rinsing, immediately use a dry bath towel to absorb the water from the dog's body. The room should be kept warm and draft-free when taking a bath, and the heater can be turned on in winter.

After washing, be sure to use a hair dryer to dry the water stains on the dog patiently and thoroughly. Do not just dry the surface, otherwise it will easily cause colds or skin diseases.

Another thing to remember is that if your puppy is bathed immediately after exercising, the chance of catching a cold will be greatly increased. Therefore, when you go home after walking your dog, even if the dog is covered in mud, you must rest for half an hour before dry cleaning.
