The sequence of bathing your Keeshond in a healthy state.

The first step: Be sure to comb the coat before taking a bath. This can comb out the tangled hair and prevent the coat from getting more tangled. When combing, in order to reduce the pain of the dog, you can hold the hair root with one hand and comb it with the other hand.

The second step: Put the Keeshond in a large and comfortable bathtub, adjust the water temperature to a suitable temperature (slightly higher than the temperature suitable for human bathing), and wet the Keeshond all over. through.

The third step: After the Keeshond is wet, start applying bath liquid (the bath liquid should be a protein bath liquid specially designed for pet fur care, please remember). Bathing a Keeshond is different from bathing ourselves. We usually wash our hair first, but for babies, when applying bath liquid, you need to apply it from the upper part of the body first. This can prevent the hair from being caused by wiping the head first. The bath fluid flows into their eyes.

Step 4: Start applying the bath gel to the lower half of the body and rub gently until rich foam appears.

Step 5: Start applying bath liquid to the Keeshond’s neck and head. Be very careful when applying so as not to let the bath liquid flow into the baby’s eyes!

Step 6: After the whole body is lathered, start flushing. The flushing should start from the upper body of the Keeshond.

Step 7: After the upper body is rinsed, rinse the lower body.

Step 8: After the bath liquid is completely rinsed, dry the water on your body with an absorbent towel specially designed for Keeshond dogs.

Step 9: After drying the water on the body, dry the water on the head and paws.

Step 10: After everything is dry, put the Keeshond next to the hair dryer and use a needle comb to comb and blow the hair. This will make the hair dry faster. At the same time, be careful not to overheat the hair dryer.

After the Keeshond is dried, it can be trimmed and repaired:

1. Cut the toes of the hind feet first, then cut the ankle into a round ball shape from top to bottom;

2. Cut the hips into an arc from the waist to the hind legs;

3. For chest trimming, first use a comb to comb the hair at an angle, use scissors to trim the hair horizontally, and then trim the front feet to make the entire chest appear soft and round;

4. Shape the sides and back of the body into an arc shape

Sunbathing is absolutely beneficial to the hair growth of Keeshond. Appropriate amount of ultraviolet radiation can kill harmful bacteria, coupled with sufficient exercise, it can also stimulate its blood circulation, thereby helping it grow healthy coat.
