1. Chew bones to keep the Border Terrier quiet

If there is something to cover the Border Terrier’s mouth, then they won’t have time to bark. Moreover, the harder things are to chew, the more challenging it is for Border Terriers. So, when the Border Terrier keeps barking, give them their favorite bone to chew on first and let them pass the boring time.

2. Play with toys to keep the Border Terrier quiet

Border Terrier parents can first rub the Border Terrier’s favorite toys with their hands, in order to keep their own smell on the toys. When the Border Terrier parent is out of sight, the Border Terrier will spend time looking for the owner's scent on the toys and forget about barking.
