Causes of vomiting

1. The most common cause of vomiting is gastrointestinal diseases. Representative diseases include: gastritis; duodenitis; inflammation of the esophagus and throat; gastric dilation; volvulus; gastric ulcer, etc.

 2. Vomiting caused by eating too much or swallowing foreign objects

 3. Vomiting caused by food poisoning and drug poisoning

 4. Uncomfortable vomiting caused by mental reasons such as nervousness or brain disorder

5. When vomiting is severe, it may be an infection caused by bacteria, viruses, parasites, etc., which may also be accompanied by fever

6. If there is still diarrhea, serious illness such as parvovirus or coronavirus infection cannot be ruled out.

Treatment:

1. Find out the cause of dog vomiting.

2. If the dog is lying on its side or on its back when vomiting, help the dog to straighten its body and lie down to prevent the vomit from blocking the trachea and nasal cavity.

3. If the nasal cavity is blocked by vomit and breathing becomes rough, lift the hind legs and head down, shake it up and down, and seek medical attention after the situation stabilizes.
