You can use pet-specific eyewash to remove tear stains, but you need to clean around Pomeranian's eyes before using eyewash. If your dog has excessive tear stains due to the cold blocking of the nasolacrimal duct, surgery to clear the nasolacrimal duct can be performed to remove the tear stains. In daily feeding, Pomeranian’s food should be replaced with dog food with less salt and oil, and do not eat human food.

What causes Pomeranian’s tear stains:

1. If Pomeranian’s eyes are in a state of tears for a long time, secretions and bacterial growth will cause tear stains.

2. Substances with relatively high salt and oil content may be added to dog food, which may cause serious tear marks after long-term consumption.

3. It may be caused by external stimulation of the eyes. If the Pomeranian's eyes are exposed to strong light or are stimulated by strong smells, they may also cause tear stains.

4. It may be that the Pomeranian’s hair is too long and has not been trimmed properly. When the dog rubs its eyes, the hair will be rubbed into the eyes, thus stimulating the eyeballs to shed tears.

5. Pomeranian lacks water in the body, gets angry, and the eye feces will aggravate the tear stains.

6. Pomeranian syndrome itself has the symptoms of trichiasis, which causes the eyelashes to irritate the eyeballs, causing constant tears and causing tear stains.
