Reasons for turtles vomiting food:

1. Unsuitable environment. When a turtle that has just been brought home feels unfamiliar and uncomfortable with the surrounding living environment and its new owner, it will have a stress reaction, and its main manifestation is vomiting.

2. The temperature difference is too large. Weather changes or seasonal changes cause the water temperature in the turtle box to drop or rise sharply. If the water temperature difference exceeds 5°C, the turtle will suddenly spit out food when eating, or even lose its appetite completely.

3. Food problem. If you accidentally feed rotten, expired, or spoiled food to a turtle, or if the feed is too large, the turtle will vomit the food after eating it.

4. Disease factors. Turtles vomiting food may also be caused by their physical discomfort. For example, turtles suffering from gastroenteritis, pharyngitis, colds, pneumonia and other diseases cause the turtle's appetite to decrease, and the turtle will vomit food halfway through eating.

Methods for handling turtle vomiting:

1. Maintain the temperature. When the weather changes, pay attention to and control the appropriate temperature of the turtle breeding environment, and try to keep the temperature between 20 and 25°C so that the turtles can grow healthily.

2. The food is fresh and small. When feeding feed, pay attention to whether the food is fresh and within the shelf life; at the same time, the food fed to the turtle should not be too large and should be broken into smaller pieces.

3. Timely treatment. If the turtle is suffering from a disease, it is necessary to take the turtle to the hospital for examination and treatment in time to prevent the condition from getting worse and threatening the life safety of the turtle.
