4. Acute neurological phase: In the acute phase, patients may experience mania, fear of water, fear of wind, episodic pharyngeal muscle spasm, difficulty breathing, difficulty defecating, excessive sweating, salivation, etc.

5. Paralysis stage: the patient enters a quiet state, the spasm stops, the patient gradually becomes quiet, and flaccid paralysis occurs, with limb paralysis being the most common, followed by weakened breathing, a fine pulse, and a drop in blood pressure. Eventually, circulatory and respiratory failure occurred and death occurred.

Treatment of rabies
