Most bad habits are not innate, but are slowly developed due to acquired bad habits. Therefore, owners should not wonder why their dogs have so many bad habits. Maybe the fault is not with the dogs, but with our usual wrong feeding methods. Follow us and learn together! Remember to give your dog more patience and time:)

1. Chew on anything you see

Some dogs will bite whatever they see, whether it is slippers, newspapers, magazines, tables, or chairs. In fact, this is a sign of curiosity. The ancestors of dogs survived by hunting for food in the wild. Nibbling on what they find is actually a playful behavior stemming from their exploratory and predatory instincts.

In addition, when puppies are in the teething stage from deciduous teeth to permanent teeth, they may also bite things to relieve the itching due to itchiness of the tooth roots. Regardless of the reason, when you find a dog biting something indiscriminately, you should immediately stop it with your hands and give a scolding sound. At the same time, you can consider buying some dog chews or toys for it to chew.

When the sound suppression still fails to achieve the goal, you can gently hit it a few times as corporal punishment. When it stops biting, you should also give the dog appropriate encouragement and rewards to let them remember what to do is right.

2. Crazy, licking and licking

When the owner comes back from work, the enthusiastic dog will often pounce on the owner to show affection. For a dog, this is the happiest way. It’s just that some dogs’ usual behavior is too crazy, and when owners see such behavior, not only will they not stop it, but some will actually play with the dogs, which gives the dogs even more motivation. If a dog behaves like this towards strangers, it is likely to scare others. If the other party is an elderly person, they are likely to be injured. We can reach out and pinch the front legs of the dog before it jumps into our arms, or gently step on the paws of its hind feet. These are the most sensitive parts of the dog that are most prone to pain, and saying "no" loudly can make the dog remember not to pester again in the future.

3. Yelling when seeing strangers

Dogs often growl at people who are far away or walking into the house. This is their response to inform the group (i.e. family) that something is going on and that they should take preventive measures as soon as possible. At this time, you can't just shout a few times to get rid of the problem. You must go to your side and observe the situation with it, and teach it not to worry. You can stop it while closing its mouth with your hand, and then gently use the other hand to stop it. After petting a few times, the dog will stop making noises when it hears the stop command, and at the same time, it will approach the owner for caressing.

4. Always enter places that are not allowed to enter

Some dogs have been repeatedly banned from entering kitchens, study rooms, etc.room, but always refused to listen and refused to change despite repeated admonitions. To correct this behavior, we can use the leash to take the dog around the house. If the dog wants to enter the room, use the leash to stop it immediately. If the dog behaves obediently, reward it; if it disobeys, scold it.

5. Bite everyone else

When some dogs feel unhappy, they even dare to bite their family members. This is because their owners are used to it. The reason is that it makes it feel that its status is above others. Therefore, when you first start raising a dog, you must carry out strict education. Don't follow the dog's wishes in everything, and make rewards and punishments clear, but you must take the initiative in everything.
