Deworming your dog's body cannot kill fleas. When dogs have fleas, they need to be treated with external anthelmintic drugs in time. The dosage of the drug needs to be selected according to the weight of the dog. The external anthelmintic drugs will spread to the skin through the sebaceous glands. When the fleas bite the dog, they will die. Regular external deworming is required to prevent flea infection. It is usually recommended that dogs be dewormed once a month.

Methods to remove fleas on dogs:

1. Comb the hair. Choose a flea comb with fine teeth to comb your dog's fur. Fleas will get stuck in the teeth of the comb and stick to the strips or put them into water dissolved in soap or detergent to kill them.

2. External deworming. Use the drops to peel along the hair on the back of the dog's neck near the spine to expose the skin, and place a whole tube of drops on the skin at the root of the hair.

3. Use flea powder. Use flea powder, and treatment needs to be consistent, at least seven to thirty days.

4. Take a bath regularly. Put the pet-specific bath soap on the dog to clean it, and leave it on for three to five minutes. In serious cases, it can be left on for more than ten minutes.

5. Environmental disinfection. The home environment and the dog’s daily necessities should also be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected.

6. Strengthen feeding and management. Usually, the dog should be allowed to get more sun and moderate exercise; be fed regularly and quantitatively to prevent partial eclipse, and provide sufficient clean drinking water in a timely manner.

7. Wear a flea collar. Wearing the flea collar around the dog's neck for a period of time will have a certain flea removal effect. It is best to combine it with other flea removal methods for even better results.
