Treatment of dog ascites

1. First identify whether the ascites is exudate or leakage, find out the original disease, and eliminate the ascites.

4. Intravenous infusion of 22-250 ml of compound 17 kinds of amino acids, 20-300 ml of dextrose, 0.5-4 ml of 10% vitamin C, 50-300 units of coenzyme A, 10-10 adenosine triphosphate Mix 100 mg and inject intravenously, once a day.

5. You can try hormone therapy and vitamin therapy.

6. Feed the dog high-protein food and limit the dog’s drinking water.

Causes of ascites in dogs

1. Bacterial peritonitis, which may also be caused by cancer in older dogs.

2. Hypoalbuminemia, which is more common in dogs with long-term malnutrition, such as stray dogs.

3. Liver disease, due to reduced production of related proteins, resulting in plasma osmotic pressure decrease, causing diarrhea.

4. Caused by heart disease. It is recommended to take it to a pet hospital for treatment in time.
