Tibetan Mastiff is one of the world's famous large dogs, also known as Tibetan dog, Qiang dog, Fan dog, Tibetan dog, Mastiff dog, etc. It was produced in Tibet, China, and is now domesticated all over the world. It has a thick frame and a strong body, and is a good fighting dog. So how do we tame them?

Mechanical stimulation method

Mechanical stimulation is a method that uses instruments to control the behavior of mastiffs when they do not listen to instructions. The most commonly used is a leash (dog leash). When the mastiff is traveling and being trained, the owner must take the initiative in the direction. If the dog does not act according to the owner's wishes, you can pull the leash to force it not to do anything against the owner's wishes.

Food stimulation method

The food stimulation method is to give food rewards when the mastiff is successfully trained or attracts its attention to mobilize training enthusiasm. If you only train and ignore rewards, the mastiff will feel that training is a very meaningless thing, and all training methods are in vain. Food can stimulate the mastiff's conditioned reflex and let it know that there are benefits if it is obedient.

Training method combining mechanical stimulation and rewards

This method is to use mechanical methods to force the mastiff to act according to instructions when it refuses to accept training, and at the same time, reward it when the action is successful or there is improvement. If the intensity of mechanical stimulation is too great, if there are too many rewards, it will affect normal appetite and be unfavorable for future training. You can combine petting and verbal praise to achieve the purpose of reward, and the owner must show his true feelings.

Imitation training method

The imitation training method is to let the trained mastiff watch how a well-trained mastiff is trained and rewarded, and be affected and inspired by it. This method can vividly and effectively let the mastiff understand what to do, and the training effect is sometimes inferior to the mechanical stimulation method. Little VIA is influenced and inspired by VIA, making it easier to train.
