1. Difficulty in urination, painful urination, turbid urine (mixed with pus and blood), linear urine, and the animal is in pain and uneasiness.

2. The sick dog showed painful urination. Due to inflammatory pain during urination, urine was discharged intermittently. The penis of the male dog flashed frequently during urination, and the labia of the female dog kept opening.

3. Turbid urine containing mucus and blood. Sometimes the necrotic and sloughed urethral mucosa is discharged.

Prevention and treatment measures for dog urethritis:

1. Control infection, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory: ampicillin 10.0 mg, kilogram intramuscular injection, ceftriaxone 20.0 mg/kg intramuscular injection; roxithromycin 5 mg/kg orally.

2. Rinse the bladder with 0.1% potassium permanganate solution.

3. At the same time, the effect of oral administration of chloroacid to convert urine is better.

4. Always keep the dog's urinary area hygienic to reduce the growth of bacteria. Once a dog is found to have indecent movements, it should be neutered as soon as possible to reduce secretion. When going out, pay attention to whether the dog's urinating posture may contaminate it with bacteria, and do not allow the dog to mate with other female dogs at will. If it develops, take it to the veterinarian promptly to check if it is pus or prostate secretions. If it is prostate secretion, the owner needs to clean up the dog more often.
