The correct order for puppy vaccination, deworming and bathing should be first deworming, then vaccination, and finally bathing. Puppies are generally dewormed internally and externally about one month after birth. They can receive the first shot of vaccine about a week after deworming, and then every 21 days or so until the vaccination program is completed and the vaccine is completed. You can only take a bath after a week. It is not recommended to bathe the dog before the bathing is completed.

Precautions for puppy vaccination

1. The dog can only be vaccinated when it is completely healthy. Vaccines are composed of attenuated viruses. After the dog is vaccinated, the attenuated virus will stimulate the dog to produce antibodies. If the dog is vaccinated in an unhealthy state, the attenuated virus in the vaccine can easily cause the dog to become sick.

2. The dog needs to adapt to the new environment for one to two weeks before being vaccinated. Don’t take a newly purchased dog to get vaccinated immediately. Dogs can easily become stressed after a change of environment, and the owner is not sure whether the dog has any diseases, so it needs to be observed for a period of time.

3. During the vaccination period, try not to take your dog outside to play or come into contact with other animals. Dogs have a very weak constitution, and there are a lot of bacteria and viruses out there, which can easily cause infections in dogs. Especially when dogs sniff the excrement of other dogs, they can easily be infected with the disease.
