Be careful to prevent infectious diseases when raising dogs

Undoubtedly, the number one priority is the hateful infectious diseases! Common fatal malignant infectious diseases include canine distemper, canine parvovirus, etc. Deaths from these diseases are mainly caused by owners not immunizing their pets well and allowing pets to come into contact with sick dogs and cats. It is recommended that pets be vaccinated regularly. If there are new cats or dogs in the family, remember to ask a doctor for a health check or isolate them for a period of time for observation before integrating them into the family.

Be careful to avoid accidents when raising a dog

Dogs are very curious and love to explore everywhere. Common fatal accidents include car accidents (you are told not to wear a leash?), Falling from a height (asking you not to close the doors and windows?), being crushed by heavy objects (asking you not to put away the items at home?), electric shock (asking you not to hide the wires?), heat stroke, food poisoning (asking you not to hide the things at home?) Food? Asking you to feed humans random food?), venomous snake, venomous bee bites, chemical poisoning (asking you not to hide disinfectants and detergents?), etc. Most of the time, it is because the family ignores the child's curious personality and likes to rummage around the house, and fails to hide the "dangerous items" in the home, resulting in a seemingly safe room that is "perilous". It can be said that the parents are to blame for the death of their pets due to accidents, and are committing the crime of "pet neglect"~!

Be careful to prevent heat stroke when raising dogs

Heat stroke (commonly known as heat stroke and sunstroke together) is the most easily ignored cause of death. Heat stroke refers to a disease in which the ambient temperature is too high and the body's heat dissipation is poor, resulting in a pet's temperature regulation dysfunction, excessive accumulation of heat in the body, and an increase in body temperature, even exceeding 40°C, resulting in damage to the nervous system. Sunstroke is a disease in which a pet's head is exposed to direct sunlight for a long time, causing the temperature of the head and body temperature to rise sharply, leading to abnormal mental state and secondary organ dysfunction. Once a pet suffers from heat stroke, if proper cooling is not carried out in time, it will soon die from multiple organ failure.

Be careful about obesity when raising dogs

According to the clinical experience of pet hospitals, it is found that about 1/3 of pets are excessively obese. The main causes of obesity are feeding high-calorie foods or snacks to please pets, as well as insufficient space for activities and insufficient amount of exercise given by owners. There may also be other physical or psychological reasons, such as insufficient thyroid hormone, behavioral changes, etc. But the main reasons are the owner's irrational feeding and distorted aesthetics (thinking that Yue Ban, Yue Ba, and Yuan Cheng Wang Qiu are cute).

Be careful about dog heartworms when raising dogs

The babies of heartworms (microfilariae) are very small and live in the blood of dogs. The adult worms are about ten centimeters long and live in the heart of dogs. (right ventricle and pulmonary artery), the worms can fill the entire heart. The route of infection is through mosquito bites. The older you are, the higher the chance of infection.

HeartwormCommon symptoms in the early stages of the disease are cough, decreased mobility, and feeling tired after a short period of exercise. In severe cases, anemia, ascites, asthma, difficulty breathing, etc. may occur. The cure rate was high in the early stage, but the treatment effect was very poor when it was discovered in the final stage because the adult worms had occupied the entire heart. The worms had to be removed one by one through surgery, but the body was not as good as before after the operation. Therefore, we still rely on prevention, regular internal and external deworming and mosquito killing. With such strong protection for cats, there will be no "worms" to get heartworm~
