The first step is to prepare things

The first thing you need to prepare to bathe your dog is towels, bathtubs and other bathing supplies. Small dogs require less space to bathe, while medium and large dogs require more space. Since dogs will constantly shake water during bathing, it is important to prepare a suitable bathtub for dogs, whether they are small or large dogs.

The second step of combing the hair

After preparing the bath supplies, the owner can help the dog's hair to be combed smoothly, and the knotted areas can be trimmed slightly. Comb out all the dust and dirt accumulated in the hair, and then you can proceed to the next step. You should also pay attention to your dog's hair care every day to make your dog's hair softer and easier to comb.

Part 3: Squeeze the anal glands

It is best to squeeze the dog’s anal glands before taking a bath, which can effectively remove the dog’s odor. However, the anus should not be squeezed frequently. If you have just finished squeezing the dog, this step can be omitted. It is very simple to squeeze the dog's anus. First, find the anal position at 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock. If you feel two grape-like objects, just squeeze those objects out.

The fourth step is to start cleaning

After squeezing the anal glands, you can start cleaning the dog. Wet the dog's hair first, then dilute the lotion, apply it evenly on the dog's body and then wash it. Be gentle when cleaning, this will make the dog less resistant to bathing. Be sure to rinse the lotion thoroughly, otherwise residual chemicals will cause skin diseases in dogs.

The fifth step is to blow dry the hair

After rinsing, dry the dog's hair immediately. Do not let the dog dry naturally, as it is easy for the dog to catch a cold. Most dogs don't like the sound of the hair dryer. You can reward the dog with some dog snacks. If the dog eats, the dog will behave better. Blow dry the hair and comb it again, and that's it.
