How to identify the authenticity of a pedigree certificate

Many people regard the pedigree certificate as a sign of the dog's price and a symbol of status, which is not wrong in itself. However, some dog dealers use it as a gimmick to raise prices, and through illegal operations such as creating fake certificates and arranging certificates, some dogs of unknown origin are sold as pedigree dogs at high prices.
Identify authenticity 1. First of all, look for CKU. As the only Chinese Kennel Association recognized by FCI, its authority is irreplaceable. If a dog dealer says that the puppies he breeds can obtain certificates from other countries, such as the American AKC pedigree certificate, it is definitely false unless the dogs are imported from the United States. 2. You can directly log in to the official website to check the CKU certificate, enter the dog’s certificate number to identify the authenticity. 3. Detailed identification* The Chinese and English names of dog breeds will be translated based on the dog breed names recognized by FCI, not random translations online. *The first few digits of the pedigree certificate number represent the FCI code of the dog breed. For example, for Tibetan Mastiff, the FCI code of this breed is 230, so its pedigree certificate number must start with CKU-230. Pay attention to the correspondence. *The identification number is a chip number, and the data can be read out through a proprietary instrument. This number cannot be modified and is unique. (All dogs registered by CKU after April 2006 have CKU’s unique chip number, so if the dog dealer provides a CKU certificate for a dog born before 2006, it must be fake) *Breeder: Breeder It is the name of the kennel owner. In principle, the dog owner should be the breeder before the dog is sold. If the dog is transferred to a new owner, the breeder should sign the opposite column of the certificate so that the certificate will be valid. *The lower left side of the certificate is FCI fluorescent mark, and the lower right side is CKU fluorescent mark. For all certificates registered after July 2008, the association uses anti-counterfeiting marks, which can be seen under ultraviolet light. *The reverse side shows a comparison of coat colors in Chinese and English. and dog owner change column. The address and phone number of the association are on the lower left side of the reverse side. You can use this phone number to check the authenticity of the certificate. 4. Go to a regular professional kennel to select a dog, buy a real and certified dog from a guaranteed kennel, and avoid fraud by dog dealers.
