Nasal tendons are simply the wrinkle-like strips of flesh on the top of a dog’s nose. Nasal tendons are subdivided into many types by enthusiasts. For example, if the nasal tendon is disconnected in the middle, it is called broken nasal tendon or eight-shaped tendon. If there are two nasal tendons on the top of the nose, it is called double nasal tendon.
As shown in the picture above, a single and complete nasal tendon with no disconnection in the middle is a tendon, also called a nasal tendon. Most people who raise English bulldogs like this kind of big nose string, a string! And the wrinkles on the face of French bulldogs are also called gluten!
As far as bulldogs are concerned, English bulldogs pay more attention to the nasal tendons than French bulldogs. Basically, people who sell English bulls will say that they have big nose strings, but French bulldogs rarely have nose strings. Maybe with French bulldogs, if the nose strings are big and thick, they will look awkward, feel uncoordinated, and lose their strength. The spirit of the French Bulldog looks more like that of a British Bulldog or a Pug!
Maybe everyone likes to pursue exaggeration and extremes. British and French fighting are popular all over the world, but only China regards the nose tendons of bulldogs as the most important place, and more and more people are even led to believe that, A big nose and one sinew are normal, purebred, and the best. Of course, everyone has their own preferences for radishes and vegetables, and we can pursue what we like, but others are not bad.
In fact, whether it is nasal tendon or gluten, the right amount is best. Excessive pursuit will inevitably lead to misunderstandings, and the more extreme it is, the more detrimental it is to the dog’s health.
