1. Eye inflammation
Inflammation of Labrador’s eyes is caused by the owner not cleaning it properly, which will also cause tear stains. The owner can apply a warm towel to the Labrador’s eyes to relieve the symptoms of eye inflammation. Then wipe your eyes with a wet cotton ball and instill antibacterial and anti-inflammatory eye drops. However, it should be noted that if the inflammation of the Labrador's eyes is serious, it is best to take the dog to see a doctor in time.
2. Congenital eye problems
Some Labradors may have congenital tear duct blockage or inverted eyelashes. These congenital problems are directly responsible for the appearance of tear stains. For Labrador dog’s congenital eye problems, it is best to take it to the hospital for treatment in time.
3. Caused by getting angry
If your Labrador drinks too little water or eats too much protein-rich food, it will cause your Labrador to get angry, leading to the appearance of tear stains. Don’t think that your Labrador needs protein. Feeding your Labrador a lot of food with high protein content will cause the protein in the Labrador's body to exceed the standard, which is not good for the dog. Therefore, you only need to provide the dog with sufficient protein, and insist on drinking more water. It can also effectively remove tear stains.
