1. Correct picky eating habits
Many of the picky eating habits of pug dogs are caused by their owners. They are afraid that the dog will be hungry and always coax it to eat. Over time, the pug dog will feel that he can eat what he wants, and he will not care so much. The food was gone. If you want to fundamentally correct your dog's picky eating habits, you should train your dog to eat on time, and set a set time for your dog when feeding. Regardless of whether it eats or not, the food will be taken away after the time is exceeded. The dog may be hungry at first, but over time the dog will develop good habits.
2. Reduce snack feeding
Giving your dog too many snacks is also a major reason why dogs are picky eaters, because snacks are generally more delicious than dog food. Once you eat too many snacks, your dog will no longer want to eat dog food. Therefore, you should not give snacks to dogs casually. It is recommended to only feed them in small amounts during training and praise.
3. Regulate the intestines and stomach
If Pug dogs have poor gastrointestinal digestion, they will generally feel uncomfortable. What they eat may not be digested before it’s time for the next meal. Of course, it’s not too big. Appetite is gone. If your dog has gastrointestinal problems, you can feed him some dog food containing probiotics, which can regulate his gastrointestinal condition and promote his absorption and digestion.
4. Increase exercise
Pug dogs need a certain amount of exercise, but many owners dote on their dogs so much that they are afraid of tiring them after taking even two steps. If your dog’s physical strength is not exhausted, he may not want to eat very much. If this happens, be sure to take the dog out for exercise. Let the dog fully display its exercise energy outdoors, and observe the dog's specific condition after returning home. If the dog eats the dog food quickly, it means that the dog really lacks exercise.
