1. Bichon Frize’s daily feed should include 150-180 grams of meat, add the same amount of dry vegetarian ingredients or biscuits, and mix with an appropriate amount of water before feeding. The meat and dry vegetables must be cooked and chopped before mixing. All kinds of feed must be fresh and clean. Especially in hot weather, leftover food from the previous meal cannot be kept for the next meal and must be thrown away in time and the food utensils must be washed.
2. You can feed the curly Bichon some fish, but it is best to be cooked fish or canned fish, and it must be fish with low fat content.
3. Bichons can eat many common vegetables, such as carrots, cauliflower and pumpkin. These vegetables are rich in fiber and contain various nutrients such as vitamins and carotene, which are very good for the health of Bichons.
4. If the purpose of feeding bones is to supplement calcium, beef bones and pig bones are the best. Chicken bones will not work (chicken bones are brittle and can easily break into sharp pieces after being chewed, which can easily scratch the stomach and intestines if the dog swallows them). The same goes for fish bones. However, canned fish does not have this hidden danger because the bones are already crispy. In addition, boil the bones in a pressure cooker before feeding. The bone marrow is an excellent source of calcium, phosphorus, and copper. Chewing on large bones can help remove tartar.
5. Give your dog a little yogurt every three or four days to regulate his stomach. Be careful not to feed too much.
