What should I do if my Golden Retriever’s ears are itchy? Open the Golden Retriever’s ears, sprinkle some ear powder inside the Golden Retriever’s ears, wait for some time, and use an ear plucking clip or your hands to remove the miscellaneous hairs in the Golden Retriever’s ear canal. At the same time, the secretions should also be cleaned up; drop ear cleaning solution into the golden retriever's ears, usually 2 to 3 drops, and then gently knead the golden retriever's ear roots.

1. Turn the golden retriever’s ears open.

2. Sprinkle some ear powder into the Golden Retriever’s ears to make each ear hair clearer for easy removal.

3. Use ear hair plucking clips to pluck out the miscellaneous hairs in the ear canal. If there is secretion in the ear canal, also remove it.

4. Drop the ear cleaning liquid into the dog's ears, and let the ear cleaning liquid completely enter the inside of the human ear canal. You can use a little more, usually 2 to 3 drops.

5. Gently knead the base of the ear canal with your hands to peel off the secretions and impurities in the external auditory canal, middle ear canal and internal auditory canal.

6. Finally, let the dog go. It will shake its head and throw the secretions in the ear canal out of the ear. When the secretions are thrown out, the owner should use cotton or tissue paper to pinch the thrown out secretions and wipe them clean. It is not recommended to insert cotton swabs into Golden Retriever's ears, because incorrect use may cause ear canal infection.
