1. Because the Shiba Inu has a shorter digestive tract, the dog’s gastric hydrochloric acid content is higher, and its gastrointestinal digestion ability is stronger, making it more suitable and easier to absorb meat. Moreover, Shiba Inu also likes to eat meat, so there should be more meat in Shiba Inu’s diet, and dog food should also be selected with higher protein and fat content.
2. The Shiba Inu also likes to chew bones, so the owner can prepare some beef bone sticks or pig bones for it to chew, but avoid feeding poultry bones to the Shiba Inu. The bones of chickens and ducks are relatively small and easy to bite. Broken pieces may scratch the Shiba Inu's esophagus when swallowed.
3. Shiba Inu sometimes eats grass on its own initiative, which means that the owner needs to add some fruits and vegetables to it.
