Bath time:
It is best to choose morning and noon on a sunny day. Cloudy and rainy days with high temperatures are not suitable for bathing.
Bath water temperature:
The water temperature should not be too high or too low, preferably between 35-37. Test the water temperature with your hands. If it feels neither cold nor hot, it is the most suitable water temperature.
Comb hair before washing:
Comb your teddy’s hair before taking a bath to avoid tangles.
Waterproof preparation:
First plug Teddy’s ears with cotton swabs. To prevent water from entering the bath.
Start bathing: Soak the dog's body with appropriate warm water, and gently comb the fur on Teddy's body to make the dog feel comfortable and calm down.
Apply bath soap: Apply bath soap from the back, rub from back to buttocks, rub the whole body to create foam, and finally wash Teddy's head, ears, chin, around the anus, limbs, soles and other parts , must be fully washed, and attention should be paid to avoiding washing the foam into Teddy's eyes.
Rinse clean:
Be sure to rinse off the bath liquid, otherwise it will cause inflammation of Teddy's skin.
Rinse and blow dry:
Use your left or right hand to cover your ears from the lower palate upwards, rinse gently with water from the top of your head downwards, taking care to prevent water from flowing into the ears, then rinse all parts of the body with clean water from front to back, and immediately rinse with water. Wrap a towel around your head and wipe the water dry. Long-haired Teddy can be dried with a hair dryer. While blowing, comb the hair continuously. As long as the Teddy is still wet, comb until the hair is dry.
Notes:
Little teddy bears under 3 months old and those during menstrual period, pregnant or less than 2 months postpartum should not take a bath. Generally, they should take a bath once every 10 to 15 days.
