1.Easily digestible feed
For puppies, you must pay attention to the feed. This is because different birth stages are different for puppies. At the same time, the selected feed must be palatable and easy to digest.
From 0 to 1 month old, feed goat milk powder; at 2 months old, you can start feeding royal milk cake; at 3 months old, start feeding puppy food, a cooked egg yolk every week, and a small amount of yogurt. Puppies before three months old should be fed four times a day, puppies between three and six months old should be fed three times a day, and puppies after six months should be fed twice a day. 2. The 3-month-old Shar-Pei has just been weaned and is in a critical period of physical development and growth. It needs sufficient nutrients to supply its bone development and growth.
2. Meat
Meats such as lean pork, chicken breast, etc. have high nutritional value. Many owners will think that it is good to feed small Shar-Pei dogs meat. In fact, this is a wrong view, because when feeding small Shar-Pei dogs, Sometimes, eating too much meat can cause indigestion in puppies, so meat should be fed reasonably.
3. Water
Whether it is for humans or animals, water is very important and very necessary, so a basin of water should always be placed in the fixed place of the little Shar-Pei. This is to make it easier for the little Shar-Pei to eat and exercise. Drink as much as you like before and after. If the little Shar Pei can drink enough clean water from an early age, it can develop normally and have a healthy gastrointestinal health.
4. Calcium and vitamins
During the growth and development of puppies, you must pay attention to supplementing calcium and vitamins when feeding them. You can supplement them with calcium powder, bone meal, vitamin tablets or a small amount of vegetables and fruits. Such supplementation is very necessary for the growth of the puppies' teeth and bones.
5. Feeding precautions
When feeding puppies every day, be sure to prevent a few puppies from overeating. The daily food intake of each dog should be determined according to the degree of fullness or hunger of the puppies. It is not advisable to overfeed a small Shar-Pei, and it is best to be 70% to 80% full.
