1.Character
Fawn dogs are lively and active by nature and like to jump up and down and run around the house, so they need to be walked around frequently. Although Chihuahuas are also lively, they don’t get much exercise every day, and you don’t need to spend time taking them out to play.
2. Body shape
The body shape of the Fawn is square, with a very broad chest, a straight back, and an upward and deep abdomen; the proportions of the Chihuahua's body are rectangular, and the length from shoulders to hips is slightly longer than the height at the shoulders.
3.Head
The fawn dog has a narrow head, a thin tip and a flat top; the Chihuahua has a round head, a round "apple-shaped" head.
4. Ears
The ears of the fawn should be as small as possible, and the varieties with high ear bases are better, with upright ears and lop ears; the ears of the Chihuahua are large, thin and upright, but when resting, the ears will be separated, with a 45-degree angle between the two ears.
5. Eyes
The eyes of the fawn are oval, suitable in size and black; the eyes of the Chihuahua are round and large, showing bright black or red (white eyes are allowed for yellowish or white dogs).
6. Coat color
The coat of the Fawn is short, smooth and shiny; the Chihuahua has short-haired coat and long-haired coat. The short-haired coat is very soft, tight and smooth. The long-haired coat is soft, flat or slightly curved, preferably with an undercoat.
