What is the difference between a Poodle and a Bichon Frize? The Bichon Frize is rectangular in shape, while the Poodle is square. The Poodle has large ears with low ear position, while the Bichon Frize is smaller with slightly higher ear position. The tail of the Bichon Frize is on the back, but not that of the Poodle. The bones of the Bichon Frize are much thicker than that of the Poodle. The Bichon Frize has round eyes, the Poodle has oval eyes, and the Poodle has a longer muzzle.

1. Four differences between Bichon Frize and Poodle

1. Body shape. Generally speaking, the white poodle and the small Bichon Frize have different body shapes. The Bichon Frize is rectangular, and the Bichon Frize has shorter legs, lying on the ground like a small bench; while the Poodle is square.

2. Ears. The ears of the Poodle are large and set low, smaller than those of the Bear Dog, and the ears are set slightly higher.

3. Tail. Poodles have a straight tail, and even if it is untied, it will not be carried on the back, while Bichon Frize dogs often carry it on the back.

4. Bone mass. The bones of the Bichon Frize are much thicker than that of the Poodle, while the Poodle is a bit light and does not feel as heavy as the Bichon Frize.

5. Eyes. The Bichon Frize has round eyes, with the outside of the eyes and the end of the nose forming a triangle. Poodle eyes are oval-shaped and widely spaced.

6. Kiss. The length of the Bichon Frize's muzzle depression is 3/5 from the muzzle depression to the occiput. The muzzle of the Poodle is relatively more slender, and the length of the muzzle depression is equal to the distance from the muzzle depression to the occiput.
