 1. Bone mass

This is most easily seen from the claws. A good Bull Terrier, even a calf that is only 30 days old, has very thick claws, more than 5cm in width. Bone mass is extremely important. If there is insufficient bone mass, the Bull Terrier will have a very thin physique in the future and will not become an ideal good dog.

 2. Ears

The ears of a Bull Terrier should not be too big. If the ears are too big or too long, it is not an advantage, but a defect. Pull the tips of the ears to just cover the front of the Bull Terrier's eyes. If it exceeds too much, it is a shortcoming.

 3. Head

The Bull Terrier’s head has two characteristics. First, there is an obvious bone protrusion at the back of the head. Without this protrusion, the Bull Terrier is impure. Secondly, in the middle of the nose, there is a vertical straight line in a concave state. It is better to be deeper than shallow.

 4. Nose

The Bull Terrier's nose should be black. If it is red, it is disqualified. Take a closer look.

5. Fur distribution

Straight hair is better than messy hair. When combing, you should pay attention to the color of the coat. The color of pet dog's coat is gradient. A good Bull Terrier baby can see the distribution of coat color when it grows up.

 6. Mouth

Hold the baby's mouth with your hands. The thicker the mouth of the Bull Terrier, the wider the mouth will be in the future, otherwise it will easily grow into a sharp-mouthed dog. Within the moderate range, the wider the mouth and the stronger the grip, the better the appearance. Mouth skin should be black, with a few spots allowed, the darker the better.

7. Coat color

This is very strange. Everyone likes Bull Terriers in different standards. Some friends like golden ones, while others like light yellow (close to white) - except for these two colors, no other colors are allowed. The color of a baby Bull Terrier is basically the same as when it grows up. It will be slightly darker when it grows up - you can refer to the color of the ears.

8. Hair volume

The more hair the Bull Terrier has naturally, the better. If you comb it carefully with a comb, you can easily feel the hair volume of the Bull Terrier. In theory, the more hair the better.

9. Claws

The Bull Terrier’s claws naturally close together instead of spreading out.

10. Eyes

When an adult purebred Bull Terrier dog looks straight ahead, the whites of its eyes should not be exposed. However, when choosing a calf terrier, never buy such a dog. One characteristic of all mammals is that the size of their eyes changes very little after they are born and grow up. Many people's eyes were quite big when they were young, but become smaller as they grow up. This is because the eyes themselves do not change. Therefore, when buying a puppy, you should show the whites of the eyes appropriately and be careful.
