The competition level standards are formed by some international traditional practices plus later consolidation and refinement. It is the current internationally accepted standard for professional dog competitions and is generally used as a standard for dog appearance evaluation. But not everyone will think that competition-level dogs are beautiful when they see them, because appearance is only one part of the competition-level standards. It focuses more on the dog’s health and personality (temperament and connotation).

Therefore, a real competition-level dog requires a lot of money and energy to cultivate. It is not possible to identify that it is a competition-level dog from an early age. At the same time, competition-level dogs need to be able to win the competition, and they are destined to be very few, so they are very expensive. For an individual, racing dogs are meaningless.

Pet level generally refers to purebred dogs other than competition level. There is no universal standard for the pet level. Generally, the competition level standards are combined with local preferences for different characteristics of different dog breeds to form some regional style own standards, or "traditional rules." A true competition-level dog must be a very good dog, but a good pet-level dog is not necessarily much worse. Anyway, I love my dog, but I personally think that as a companion pet, the dog’s personality is more important. On the outside, just look pleasing to the eye.
