What to do if your Anatolian Shepherd Dog catches a cold

What should I do if my Anatolian Shepherd Dog gets rabies? Since rabies is a zoonotic infectious disease, if the owner finds that his dog has rabies, he must do a good job in dealing with it.
Rabies is what we know as mad dog disease, and some people call it hydrophobia. It is a meningoencephalitis caused by a virus that attacks nerve tissue.
There will be a prodromal period after a dog gets rabies. Since the symptoms are not obvious or there are no symptoms, the owner will not pay attention to it. Once discovered, the dog has often entered the excitement stage. Dogs who enter the excitement phase will become restless, easily agitated, bark often, and they may attack people or other animals at any time. Some dogs not only attack others, they sometimes bite their own bodies like crazy. Under normal circumstances, dogs will alternate between rage and depression after entering the excitement period. When dogs are in a depressed state, most dogs will lie down. The dog will enter the paralysis stage about 10 days after the onset of the disease. At this time, the dog will experience excessive salivation, paralysis of the limbs, and eventually die due to paralysis of the respiratory center or coma.
In order to prevent owners from being infected by sick dogs, owners should pay special attention to the following points during daily maintenance:
1. Do a good job in vaccinating dogs.
2. If the dog gets into a fight with other dogs or stray dogs outside and is injured, it is best for the owner to ask a veterinarian for diagnosis and treatment. Within 10 days, the owner should not interact too closely with the dog, and should pay attention to the dog's every move. If you find that your dog has become sensitive, does not listen to its owner's calls, or often licks its wounds, etc., take them to the pet hospital immediately.
3. If the owner discovers that the dog is sick later, it is best for the owner to have all his family members vaccinated, just in case.
4. For sick dogs, owners should follow the veterinarian’s instructions and do not handle the disease themselves.
