Usually, you can tell whether a golden retriever puppy is pure from three aspects: head, hair, and body shape. First of all, purebred golden retrievers have a flat head, a long face, and the ears are close to both sides of the head and are triangular in shape, just big enough to cover the inner edges of the eyes. Secondly, the hair of purebred golden retrievers is very fluffy and the color is golden and reddish brown. Finally, purebred golden retriever puppies have thicker limbs, thicker soles, high IQ, and good obedience.

1. Viewed from the head

Viewed from the head, purebred golden retrievers have a flat head, a long face, moderately almond-shaped eyes, black or brown pupils, and ears. It is larger and triangular in shape and naturally hangs down to the sides of the head, with the ears far apart.

2. Observation from the hair

The hair color of purebred golden retrievers is varying degrees of golden and reddish brown. The hair is longer, especially the hair on the abdomen, and the hair is soft and shiny. The tail hairs fan out in adulthood.

3. Observation from the body shape

Purebred golden retrievers have relatively thick and powerful limbs, thick soles, thick chest, and horizontal back. Golden retrievers that are too thin will be disqualified.
