Dogs with severe infections may also develop anemia. symptoms.

Fleas are an external parasite that live on dogs. When fleas are found on dogs, it is usually caused by the following reasons.

1. Improper feeding environment

When dogs live in a dirty or humid environment, it is easy for dogs to become infected with fleas. Therefore, when owners usually raise dogs, they need to keep their dogs’ living environment dry, clean, and ventilated. At the same time, you can also regularly disinfect the environment where your dog lives, and then expose it to the sun for about 12 hours after disinfection, which can also prevent fleas to a certain extent.

2. Failure to perform external deworming regularly

If the owner does not deworm the dog regularly, fleas will attach to the dog's body. Therefore, owners also need to perform external deworming on dogs regularly. It is generally recommended to perform external deworming on dogs once a month. You can use external deworming drugs containing ingredients such as fepreronil, selamectin, and imidacloprid. At the same time, flea bites can also spread infectious diseases and parasitic diseases, so in addition to external deworming, internal deworming is also required.

3. Infected by other dogs

Fleas can spread to other pets by jumping, so dogs can become infected if they play with a dog that has fleas. It is recommended that dogs should not be exposed to pets of unknown origin and should be dewormed regularly.

Note: Do not take a bath for three days before and after deworming your dog, otherwise it will affect the efficacy of the medicine. At the same time, you also need to remove the dog's hair before dripping the anthelmintic medicine on the skin.
